• Brown yarn for embroidering a nose
• 4.00-4.5 mm crochet hook
• Beads for eyes

AMIGURUMI PLUSH SQUIRREL CROCHET FREE PATTERN

Abbreviations:
R – row
ch – chain
st – stitch
sl st – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)
dec – decrease (2 sc together)
[…] – number of stitches you should have at the end of the row
(…) – repeat whatever is between the brackets the given number of times

Advice: better to sew details to each other with cotton or acrylic yarn, not with plush one.

Legs and body

Legs (make 2)
With orange yarn:
R 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
R 2: (1 sc, inc) repeat 3 times [9]
R 3-5: 9 sc (3 rows)

Don’t fasten off when you’ll finish the second leg.
Continue crocheting the body, starting from the second leg.

R 6: Crochet 1 ch from the 2nd leg and join it with the 1st leg, 9 sc on 1st leg, 1 sc in next 1 ch, 9 sc on 2nd leg, 1 sc in next 1 ch (opposite side) [20]
R 7: (3 sc, inc) repeat 5 times [25]
R 8-10: 25 sc (3 rows)
R 11: (3 sc, dec) repeat 5 times [20]

Embroider a nose with brown yarn.

Ears (make 2)
With orange yarn:

Don’t stuff.
Fold the top opening in half and sc through both sides.

Join yarn Alize Softy on the top of ear and crochet: (5 ch, sl st) repeat 3 times.
Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for embroidering the middle of ear.

Tail
With white yarn:
R 1: 4 sc in magic ring [4]
R 2: (inc) repeat 4 times [8]
R 3: 4 inc, 4 sc [12]
Switch to orange yarn:

Assembly
Sew the muzzle to the head on R 5-6. Sew eyes over the muzzle.
Sew ears, starting on R 2 of the head.
